Chakras and Aura

Although you may read about your chakras and aura, you must understand that they are not one in the same. Chakras are  distinct and separate components that contribute to the "generation" and health of your aura, and vice versa. Each interpenetrates the other in energy form and can alter it's resonance.

cha-kra, n. pl.
  1. Also spelled Cakra,  Sanskrit Cakra  (“wheel”), any of a number of psychic-energy centers of the body, prominent in alternative physiological and holistic healing practices.
  2. The chakras are conceived of as focal points where spiritual, psychic, physical, mental, and emotional forces and functions merge with and interact with each other.

au·ra, n. pl.

  1. An invisible breath, vapor, resonance, emanation, or luminous radiation.
  2. A distinctive but intangible quality that seems to surround the animate or inanimate.

For the Egyptians, Chinese, Hindus, Greeks, Romans, and indigenous peoples of many lands - the chakras were an integrated part of daily lives. The word chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel". Each specific chakra is a wheel-like spinning vortex that interpenetrates the physical body, with the outer ends of each vortex resonating out to form a specific layer of the auric field. The whirling circular motion forms a cavity or vacuum in the center that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibrational level. It is then processed and returned to the auric field.

Chakras are the means through which our "body" communicates beyond of physical "shell". You are not a physical body with an aura surrounding you. Rather, your aura and physical body are one unit that together make up only a small portion of the greater you that is part of the greater whole, the "Universe".

The major chakras of the human body are the seven main chakras that are aligned along the spinal column. There are also 4 upper chakras of importance that are located in the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet, and at major joints in the arms and legs.

The history of the aura goes back to indigenous peoples, mystics of the middle age, and artisans from all eras who have all described or illustrated the aura as a rainbow of radiant, luminescent, glowing, and coloured lights around living entities. For most of us, the aura is the colour radiance emanating from of all living beings and things. For those of the clinical sciences, it is more concrete, involving the frequencies and energy fields around both animate and inanimate living things.

Formed by subtle energies and color radiances which surround the body, the aura can be perceived by some who are attuned with the naked eye. It can also be seen by the third-eye by those who have developed their intuitive and psychic abilities. The colours that emanate can display the wholistic health of the living being. Each colour, or the light vibration, has different meanings in this respect.

As mentioned previously, the aura is connected with the activity and "health" of the chakras. It outwardly reflects the individual state of well being (wholistically). What is not in balance within, will most certainly emanate to the aura in various forms and can be seen as anything from dullness and blurs of colours to streaks and lightening-like bolts. Colours will change, depending on your circumstance and state of well-being. In seeing this information, once only perceived by the sensitive and psychic, modern scientists can now measure the true electromagnetic field (EMF) around living creatures to see how it coincides with their state of well-being.

Balancing your chakras and aura, balances your wholistic being. It should be done whenever needed and can better empower all that you are now and aid you in better becoming all that you are meant to be. Colour balance can impact all levels of your wholistic "health", including:

  • Source

  • Universal

  • Etheric

  • Spiritual

  • Mental

  • Experiential

  • Emotional

  • Physical

  • Relational

  • Sensual

  • Material

  • Source

  • Devine

  • Higher Self

  • Crown

  • Third Eye

  • Throat

  • Heart

  • Chest

  • Stomach

  • Pelvis

  • Root

If one thinks of the Universe as a living, energetic and conscious realm, then your chakras are the momentum and your aura is the doorway to the consciousness that resides in the dimension beyond our Earth Plane. Is it too much of a stretch to anticipate that human consciousness and effort in maintaining one's chakras and aura can, in effect, affect matter and energies of beyond our Physical Body and Earth Plane? I like to ponder that the time is approaching when our world recognizes the credibility, sincerity, and love of those who may "see" the hope for our future by acting on this thinking.

Whether you sense your chakras or see an aura or not, using colour, light, sound, touch, or whatever form of vibrational reading, therapy, or healing you may partake in. The key is to keep the rainbow spectrum of your chakras and aura adjusted and in balance.
